ARTHUR LVZ

Video-making has risen in prominence as an art form with the ramping up of commercialised formats in the music industry.
Because of this, young creatives all over the world have been compelled to express their drive through this outlet, and Arthur LVZ is one of the most rapidly growing names in this camp.

The Frenchman has become one of the most requested video creators in the country, earning his stripes by collaborating with many artists, which seem to be chosen by him purely by acquaintance and/or preference, among which we find G-20, Bitsu, Norsacce 667 and others.

Amassing significant amounts of clout with services like the video for "Speedboat" by Prime (which is only one among many examples), which counts two million views on Youtube, Arthur became one of the most sought after men of his profession, nationally.
Although, as previously stated, his method of collaboration being dictated by his preference and not only opportunity, made the video-maker work with more underground artists like Black Mamba and FreshPasRodave, as well.

This horizontal approach has enabled Arthur to broaden his collaborative potential and catch the attention of several international acts, which every European urban artist aspires to achieve. In this sense, the creative has hustled for the privilege to work for the likes of Smoky Margiela, documenting his live concerts and vlogging their stay in his home city of Paris as well as their trips around the US.

Having his veneer of professionalism consolidated by putting in the work as well as showcasing a simple yet highly stylised, flashy and colorful filming technique, Arthur has landed at a secure and recognisable spot in the scenery.

And while one may draw comparisons between him and trailblazers like Cole Bennet, Arthur LVZ’s aesthetic is personal, unique, as well as being applied to more varied mediums than just the music video.

This is reason enough to be excited for his fuller integration into an international hip-hop culture.
