GZUZ

Gzuz is a German rapper to definitely watch out for. Together with his solo career, his notoriety dates back to 2006, as a member of the famous Hamburg hip hop crew 187 Strassenbande. He was deeply involved in the street activities in Hamburg, and was sentenced to three years in prison in 2010, which halted his music career until 2013. After his release, he took part in the “Uprising Tour” and released the album “High & Hungrig” (2014) together with Bonez MC, which hit number 9 in German album charts. Every following release has been tremendously successful: his solo album “Ebbe & Flut” (2015) charted at number 2, and the album “High and Hungrig 2” (2016), with Bonez MC, peaked at number 1 and even received Gold status. Among his more recent tracks, we suggest you listen to “Was Hast du Gedacht” and “Warum”, which went viral on the American platform “Worldstar Hip Hop” in 2018.  Presently, we have seen Gzuz collaborate with other German rappers rather than releasing new tracks of his own, but we hope to hear more material from him soon.
