With 9 released albums since 2016, Jorrdee deserves the title of France’s most prolific rapper. Unique and unpredictable, he is not afraid to experiment with new sounds and styles to make his music refined and exciting. He is recognizable through his high pitched tones sung over chill and atmospheric trap productions, often provided by the producer Phazz. His sound has undergone noticeable change over the years, developing from classical rap in the 2015 “Personne Ne Sort”, to the psychedelic “Coca Cola Pt 2” in 2020. Born in Lyon, he began his career in 2009, first as part of the duo “Les Mektons”, then as a member of the LT RT Klan, working under the pseudonyms “Lestat de Lyoncourt”, “Argent Stupide” and “Anakin Le Fils”. From uploading videos, Eps and singles to YouTube and Soundcloud, his single “Rolling Stone” (2015) got many people listening, and was included in the 2016 album “BJOVR $^LOP€!", his official debut. More success quickly followed: his album “Avant” (2017), released by Warner Music France”, placed Jorrdee at the top of the French rap scene and featured the iconic singles “Arrête” and “California”, which showcased his personal style and musical vision. That same year, he deleted all his old songs from Soundcloud and Bandcamp as he now wanted an audience more similar to him. After a brief pause in 2018, he made a strong comeback; releasing 5 albums in 2019, and 2 more in January 2020 alone.
