NXXXXXS

Between his name, his production style and general aesthetic, French producer NXXXXXS is seeking to create vibes inspired by tropes of the internet and digital world.
While there may be a veneer of intentional mystery and inaccessibility which is conveyed by NX's creative choices, many have noticed his talent and exactly what is endearing about his music, as evident by the traffic on his social media platforms and the collaborations that sprung from that.

Having started his career in 2013 by uploading "type beats" on Youtube, which is nowadays a common start to many producers' careers, NX was able to link up with artists like Jiddy, Bunk and Marley Marz, through the clout that this initial occupation was able to amass for him.

By 2015, the frenchman saw his first major success by producing the hit "LIL BIT" by Ta-Ra, which as of today counts close to two million views. 
Only judging by this collaboration, we can corroborate the characterisation of NX's style as digital-inspired. From the music video to the beat to the wardrobe choices, Ta-Ra and NX were trying to convey an ethereal yet futuristic aesthetic.

NX would proceed to look for artists to provide his sound to, and in 2017 he would find such a collaborator in Retro X. 
He worked with the fellow French rapper on tracks such as "Le Soleil De Paris" and "Gary Jules", which represented a great opportunity for him to further expand his name. 

While that (expansion of his brand name) is something that NX has been correctly seeking and accomplishing, it is sort of surprising, given that, to witness him sticking with the more obscure sound he specialises in. 
His whole sound tries to recreate a lo-fi, dark, ethereal and somewhat glitchy feel, being clearly influenced by acts such as Three Six Mafia, SpaceGhostPurrp and the broader Memphis-inspired "trill" wave. 

Synthesisers, chopped samples, dusty drums with trap-inspired bass and tempo are all incorporated into NX's beats, which he still puts out on Youtube and dedicates to various artists whose sound he thinks would fit the sound. 
The producer also is not shy or coy about showcasing his influences, as he put out and updates a Spotify playlist called "Phonk and Vaporwave", the content of which in of itself serves as a blueprint for the audio and visual aspects of his instrumental tapes.

However, instrumentals, be they on his tapes or loose type beats, are not his only avenue of creative release. 
In fact, NX uses his "Synthetic" outlet to platform his non-musical ideas like graphics, photos and clothing designs. 

Given this multiplicity of talents and willingness to indulge in different platforms, NXXXXXS is to be seen as a truly modern artist whose developments will surely be exciting to witness.
